My First High School Hack

My love for tech started in high school when I joined my first “capture the flag” competition. I was hooked the moment I realized how much creativity and problem-solving went into uncovering hidden exploits and piecing together digital clues. That rush showed me how thrilling and impactful technology could be, sparking a passion I never expected.

In college, I originally studied physics and engineering, fascinated by how everything worked at a fundamental level. But the more I learned, the more I found myself drawn to cybersecurity—a field that merged my love of discovery with the urgency of protecting digital systems. Eventually, I made the leap to switch programs, and it’s been a challenging but exciting journey ever since, blending my scientific curiosity with a drive to secure the ever-evolving world of tech.
